Description: Jozour was founded as a social enterprise with the aim of making the best use of agriculture residues in Egypt, offering more job opportunities in rural areas and enhancing different local industries.
Through innovative technologies, Jozour upcycles a local sustainable wasted resource – date palm midribs – into high quality wood panels with a unique appearance, which acts as an alternative for the imported sawn wood ,then –using these panels- they produce special high quality end products.
They offer a variety of superior end products made of date palm midribs’ wood to choose from.
Jozour launched mirrors and clocks to their product line in 2016.

Cleantech Arabia’s support: through “Entrepreneurship Support in Waste Management in Southern Upper Egypt for Local Economic Development” UNIDO program, Jozour was supported with technical, financial and marketing consultancy as well as investment facilitation.
