In the period between 2013 and 2015, Cleantech Arabia supported more than 30 startups and MSEs with full technical, business and investment facilitation support through its programs with diverse partners. The programs are designed to upgrade the capacities of MSEs and enhance youth’s skills in entrepreneurship, create start-ups/small enterprises which create jobs and generate profit, enhance the potential of startups and MSEs, provide solutions to tackle youth unemployment, and enhance both the employability and entrepreneurship skills of local youth while boosting the capacity of local Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) to drive local economic growth and create jobs. This is achieved through mapping the business opportunities from the market and enabling the innovators/potential entrepreneurs to tackle these opportunities in the most efficient and effective way, while leveraging the supporting ecosystem in Egypt. Through its founders and network of experts, Cleantech Arabia offers technical, financial and business modeling consulting services to clean technology startups to offer them tailored support at every stage of the development of their businesses.

Track A: “Grow Your Company” Program (GYC)
+ Creates profit generating startups with growth potential.
+ Builds startups that are ready for operation and enabled entrepreneurs.
+ Around 40 hours of intensive consultations and investment facilitation activities for a highly selected group of startups.
+ Short training program and support is provided in the following areas: technology optimization – financial management – quality control – advanced managerial skills – marketing – human resources.
Track B: “Start Your Company” Program (SYC)
+ Create a startup with growing profit from a startup in the piloting phase/with a market tested product, yet without continuous profit or revenues.
